Node ("the app") is a personal organization service operated by Attereon. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Node. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Node offers a Free tier and a paid Pro plan ($3.99 per month or $36 per year), billed through Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price changes. Storage and collaborator limits for each plan are as described in the app. Attereon may grant promotional plan upgrades at its discretion.
You retain full ownership of the notes, tasks, files, and other content you create in Node. You grant Attereon a limited license to store, sync, and transmit your content solely to operate the service — including delivering shared items to collaborators you invite. We make no other claim to your content. How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
When you share an item, its content becomes visible to the collaborators you invite. If a collaborator leaves or is removed from a shared item, copies retained by the item's owner may persist. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
You agree not to use Node to store or distribute illegal content or malware, to harass or abuse others, to scrape or programmatically harvest the service, to resell access, or to circumvent plan limits or security measures.
Optional integrations are governed by their own terms in addition to these: Google Calendar sync is subject to Google's terms of service, and payments are processed by Stripe subject to Stripe's terms.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account, which permanently removes your account and data. Attereon may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Node is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we work hard to keep your data safe and available, Node is not a backup service of record — we encourage you to export important content regularly.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attereon's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amounts you paid to Attereon in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes through the app or website. Continued use of Node after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
